Do you know where you can get one of those CD's with a baby crying? I have a pregnant friend that is trying to prepare her (very spoiled) dogs for the new arrival and had heard that getting them used to the crying was a good idea - does anyone else have any advice for prepaing the dogs to be replaced?

I heard another good idea on this topic -- sending a blanket that the baby was wrapped in home from the hospital to your dog(s) or cat(s.) That way they can get used to the baby's scent before you bring them home. The story I heard was not to worry if they tear the blanket to shreds -- it does not mean that they will do that to the baby.
